What’s On at BristolCon

BristolCon is a one day convention, which for the past TEN years has consisted of a programme of panel discussions, presentations and workshops, an Art Show, a Dealer’s Room, and a social space for chatting, knitting, or chilling out. To date we have had two main programme streams plus a minor stream in the Art Show, and this year we are broadening our selection of workshops and kaffeeklatsches into an additional stream. Time machines are available at astonishing cost!

If you would like to register your interest in participating as an Artist or Dealer, please email artshow[at]bristolcon[dot]org or dealers[at]bristolcon[dot]org.

If you would like to participate in the programme, please first purchase your membership and answer ‘yes’ to the questions about being a panellist and/or moderator. Our programme scheduler will contact you in the summer with information on the proposed list of panel discussions and workshops.

Bristolcon is always on the lookout for Minions (called Gophers or Helpers at other conventions). Minions are volunteers who help out the on the day of the convention, assisting the committee to keep everything running. They do things like hand out badges on the registration desk, help dealers carry stuff to the dealers’ room, attend panel items to wave the “5 minutes to go” signs at the participants, and so on. You can minion for as little or as much time as you like to suit your plans for the day.

If you think you might like to be a BristolCon Minion then email programme[at]bristolcon[dot]org for details.
