Bristol Fantasy and SF Society

Are you a fan of speculative fiction (SF, fantasy or horror), whether you write it, read it or watch it? Would you like to join a group of similarly-inclined carbon-based life forms for chat, laughs and heroic drinking sessions? Do you live in the Bristol, UK area? If so, maybe you”d like to join?

The Bristol Fantasy and SF Society meets once a month in a pub in Bristol for informal chats about the books, comics, films, TV and games that we love. Find out more about us on our Facebook page.

Please send me an email contact for Bristolcon for your marketing, advertising and promotions staff so that I may discuss a cross-promotional opportunity with Amazing Stories magazine.

    Thank you.

Hi. I’m trying to get rid of a large collection of science fiction paperbacks and rather they went to some enthusiasts than to landfill. Anyone interested?

Hi Martin. Can you email me, if you’re still trying to get rid of these books? Thanks!

Hi, i thought you guys might be able to help? im looking for (not sure how to word it but)

a sci fi – fantasy – wizards and witches – myth and legend?

Themed Fair – reinactment – festival?

Sort of dress up, with stalls and shows for the kids. Like a war reinactment but fantasy.

If that makes any sense at all then any help would be much appreciated lol.

Hi there! My name is James, but most people call me Jimmy. I’ve been working in Bristol the last year and haven’t really tried reaching out to similarly minded people who are into sci-if, comics etc. I’ve recently come out of a 4 year relationship and suddenly have a million hours a week to fill with whatever and whoever I want. Is this group still active? I’d be up for a pub or coffee meet up to chat about all things cool and nerdy.

    All the best,
