BSFA Shortlists

Congratulations to our lovely guest of honour, Adrian Tchaikovsky on reaching the shortlist for best novel in 2019 with his Children of Ruin, published by Tor.

But look what the southwest has been doing in the best novel category – securing three of the five places. Congratulations to:

  • Juliet E McKennaThe Green Man’s Foe (Wizard’s Tower Press)
  • Emma NewmanAtlas Alone (Gollancz)
  • Gareth L PowellFleet of Knives (Titan Books) 

Even more incredible, last year’s Guest of Honour, Gareth L Powell has also been shortlisted in the Best Shorter Fiction category for Ragged Alice published by and in the Best Non-Fiction category for About Writing by Luna Press.
