About Stephen Oram

Stephen Oram writes near-future science fiction novels and short stories, exploring the intersection of messy humans and imperfect technology. He also works with scientists and technologists to explore possible outcomes of their research through short stories and has co-edited four anthologies along these lines. His recent collection 'Extracting Humanity' includes stories from these projects. The Financial Times said his work, 'should set the rest of us thinking about science and its possible repercussions,' and Linux User & Developer Magazine described him as, "A soothsayer for this century's relationship with technology."
