About Anne Corlett
After 16 years as a criminal defence lawyer, Anne decided to abandon the world of legal aid for a - worryingly - more stable and viable career as a writer. Her short fiction has been published in various magazines and anthologies and has won several awards. Her first novel, The Space Between the Stars (Pan Macmillan UK and Random House US) told the story of a woman trying to get home to the Northumbrian coast after a deadly virus reduced the human race to a handful of survivors scattered across the stars. Her recently published second novel, The Theatre of Glass and Shadows (Bonnier UK) is set in an alternate version of London, where a vast Theatre District has grown up around an immersive show that has been running for centuries.
