About HELEN Claire Gould
Helen Claire Gould discovered science fiction at nine and has been writing it since her teens. She met her husband at Peterborough SF Club and set up the Peterborough SF Writers’ Group.
After several miscarriages in 1992 she began to write for therapeutic reasons, joined Orbiters and set up the Peterborough SF Writers’ Group. She edited two small press collections of short fiction, organised a weekend workshop on writing comics, and published book reviews in Vector.
She graduated in Geology and Planetary science in 2000, and taught Geology and Creative Writing evening classes. In 2013 she organised and ran writers’ workshops for Peterborough Arts Festival, and in 2014 self-published her debut novel Floodtide, followed in 2018 by The Stallion and She…. Her current project is The Zarduth Imperative: Discovery, and TZI: Clanship, part of a series with spin-off series and stories set in her fictional universe. Her website is www.Zarduth.com.
