About Ben Jeapes

Ben wanted to be a writer in the mistaken belief that it would be quite easy and save him from having to get a real job. Turned out it isn\'t and it didn\'t. Having had that knocked out of him at a thankfully early age, he could dedicate time to learning and developing his craft while holding down day jobs in publishing (social sciences, I.T., medicine, science fiction) and technical communications. He is now the author of eight novels, an award-winning children\'s biography of Ada Lovelace, numerous short stories collected in Jeapes Japes (available from Wizard\\\'s Tower Press), and about a million ghostwritten words for other people, which annoyingly make much more money than his own stuff.
