We are currently developing and testing a new sign-up process which will allow people to purchase memberships in a slightly more sophisticated fashion, and also to register with us, so that those who wish to can share their details direct to the website (details such as bio, profile picture and interest in participating in the convention.)

Due to some problems caused by PayPal changing their interface, we are not selling memberships via PayPal in the interim, however you can still pay by cheque.

Prices for the 2017 convention are as follows:

Standard Membership:

Until May 31st
Waged – £20
Unwaged – £15

June 1st – Oct 26th
Waged – £25
Unwaged – £20

On the Door – full day
Waged – £30
Unwaged – £25

On the Door – half day (from 2pm)
Waged – £20
Unwaged – £15

Dealers (one member / one table) and Artists – £20
Carers assisting a registered member and children aged 13 and under go free.

Dealers and artists should contact the relevant convention team members prior to purchasing their membership to confirm that spaces are available.

Carers accompanying disabled members who could not otherwise come to the con may attend with no charge, as can children aged 13 and under – please give us their details so that a name badge can be prepared (this is optional for children). For further information please contact members[at]bristolcon[dot]org.

Pay by Cheque

Cheques should be made payable to Bristolcon and sent to: Amanda Kear, Flat 11 Beaufort Court flats, 1 Beaufort Street, Easton, Bristol BS5 0SQ. You need to tell us your email address, and the name and badge name of every person for whom you are purchasing a membership. We will email you with your unique membership number when the new payments process is rolled out.

Pay at Conventions

You’ll be able to find BristolCon staff at various events around the UK and Ireland throughout the year. You can see where we’ll be on the committee page. One of us will always be found at the BristolCon Fringe readings.

I will pay by cheque. Paypal and I have a horrendous history and I do not want to relive all that.

Theres no option to add names under instructions to merchant when I went through paypal. I will print off the receipt for the two memberships and you will have to look at it on the door and let the 2 people in.

I haven’t listen the two people on my first order, for myself and my partner. Do you need these names, or is it okay to just bring blank receipt for 2? I have just paid for membership of my son, his is named.

Hi Mark. We need everybody’s names so we can make up badges for you. Can you email with the details please?

I don’t use Paypal because every time I make an account, something fraudulent happens.

Could I please pay via card?

    Thank you,

Hi Danny. Our Memberships Secretary, Amanda, should be in touch shortly (if she hasn’t already) to arrange something with you.
