2015 – Programme

Like other BristolCons before it, BristolCon ’15 is a single-day event designed to allow people from south and central England, and south Wales, to attend without needing a hotel room. Activities do go on into the evening for anyone able to stay, and for anyone who lives locally or is arriving on the Friday, there will be bonus content – an open mic reading event preceded by a fun, informal workshop on giving a great reading.

The programme consists of panels and presentations on a range of topics. We also run ‘kaffeeklatches’ and small group sessions: an opportunity to meet interesting people in small groups and talk about their work or their area of expertise, or participate in a small, friendly workshop. In the evening the dealer’s room will be taken over for gaming, whilst the programme rooms will play host to the BristolCon Quiz and a screening of Galaxy Quest. More information on the evening events is here.

The registration desk will be open on the Friday night from 18:30 until 20:00 and on Saturday morning from 08:45.
