Emma Newman and our Glorious Leader, Jo Hall, will be the guests at Word of Mouth at the Thunderbolt on Wednesday, March 6th. We quote from their website:

Word of Mouth and our science fiction friends BristolCon present an evening of fantasy with Joanne Hall and Emma Newman
Emma will be reading from her novel Between Two Thorns, the first in the Split Worlds series being published by Angry Robot books, and a couple of related short stories. The Split Worlds is a fantastical modern-day setting with evil fairies, mad sorcerers and people who just want to drink their tea in peace.
Joanne will be reading an extract from Art of Forgetting a rich fantasy set in a world of magic and mystery and a story from her highly acclaimed first collection of fantasy stories The Feline Queen.
That says a 7:30 start. the Facebook event says 8:00. We figure you might as well get there early because it is, after all, a pub. There will be beer.
