We Have A Festival!

September 19th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Exciting things have been happening in Bristol this year. We have a brand new Festival of Literature being launched. The dates are October 14th-23rd.

Why, that includes BristolCon, doesn’t it! And yes, we have been involved in the organization. In particular we have helped create several events:

  • Thursday 20th October, 6-7pm: Write Spectacular! With: Juliet McKenna; Jo Hall; Gareth Powell and Cheryl Morgan (chair)
  • Friday 21st October, Forbidden Planet signings. Details to come.
  • Friday 21st October, 6-7pm: Should David Cameron read more sci-fi? With: Justina Robson; Tim Maughan; Cheryl Morgan and Tom Sykes (chair)

Other Festival events feature Jasper Fforde and GP Taylor.

As these are Festival Events you’ll need separate tickets, through the Forbidden Planet signings will be free. For further details and booking information click here.

We are very pleased to be part of this inaugural event, and look forward to bigger and better Festivals in future years.
