About April Steenburgh

April Steenburgh is the pen name of Burdock Broughton. They live in Cornwall with a cunning little cat they found in a swamp. That cat might be a witch. Two other special rescue felines take up bed space and get their tails in the tea. April writes short fiction, primarily mythic fantasy, and started Faery Cat Press with friend Laura Anne Gilman. When not writing, April wanders the moors, walks the coast path, and provides academic support to college students as an English Professor and eSports Coach.
