Patrick Samphire writes novels and short stories, predominantly fantasy for adults but also a little science fiction and stories for children, most prominently his Mennik Thorn series for adults and his Secrets of the Dragon Tomb series for children. He has stories published in Interzone, Realms of Fantasy, Strange Horizons, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and many others.

He is a Bristolian born and bred but now sadly exiled.
