S Slottje was born in the Netherlands and now resides in Gloucester, which she describes lovingly as "kind of like the rough side of the Shire". She has a fascination for the interaction between technology, myth, and society both in sci-fi and fantasy. Her debut novel \'Wayward Wings\' came out in 2024, and she is working on her second, as well as short stories, and she\'s even been known to write the odd poem.
