August Fringe – Open Mic!

August 6th, 2014 · No Comments

Calling all Bristolian writers with voices!

To celebrate the first anniversary of the BristolCon Fringe, we’re putting on an Open Mic session on Monday August 18th at 7.30pm in the Shakespeare Tavern on Prince Street, Bristol. Readings will be five minutes long and you can read anything you like – flash, WIPs, extracts from short stories, poetry, whatever! No need to sign up in advance, just turn up with something to read and we’ll fit in as many of you as we can.

If you haven’t been to a Fringe event and you’re wondering what you might be letting yourself in for, you can hear recordings taken at the fringe here on the BristolCon website or on Cheryl Morgan’s blog – http://www.cheryl-morgan.com/?p=19429 for July’s readings, for example…

You can sign up on the BristolCon Fringe Facebook page or just come along – it would be really nice to see lots of you!
